The Psychological Portait

My work called "Psychological portrait" contain two different series - self-portraits and portraits of my friends. The both of them are reflecting mental state of human, but each of them in different way. The friends are portrayed in the way how I personally perceive them, whereas self-portraits recapitulate several important moments of my life which affected me during the last year. The paintings are very personal, so people who don´t know me are not able to understand it very well. The important is, that the pictures should give the impression and arouse the questions - it is intensified by the titles, which slightly uncover their content. At the same time each of the series are somehow connected to the my previous works, which I made during the study, so it is some kind of completion of my previous creation.

Psychoacoustical Measurement of Binaural Hearing Characteristics

This diploma thesis deals with a binaural hearing issues (it means hearing by both of ears), a human hearing ability to locate position of a sound source at three-dimensional space and parameters that affect this ability. In the second part, it focuses on psychoacoustic experiment, its main features and errors that can occur and which affect a results credibility. Method of pair comparisons is described more closely here. The last part of this thesis describes a technical solution of experiment in Java environment. The application should have a graphical interface and should be able to register a new user and perform a psychoacoustical experiment. The process of experiment is following. The aplication selects a random position of defined virtual sound source on the defined range and it plays this sound into headphones on button click. The users task is to set the application controls, representing a virtual sound source position, that way, where the user hear the sound come from. On another button click the application plays the same sound, but this sound comes from application controls set position (set by user). User compares this pair of sounds and modifies the position of second sound source until these two positions are same. The application stores these results for later processing on another button click. Principles of generating testing sound sources (sine wave, narrowband noise and sound file with wav extension) and their 3D positioning by measured head model impulse responses correlation are described thereinafter. An ability of human hearing system to locate a virtual sound source in dependence on sound parameters is discussed in conclusion.

Title: Physical, psychological and technical preparation of the rescuer. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to describe the physical, psychological and technical preparation of the rescuer, including the presentation of training examples for the in development. Methods: The method was used to analyze professional literature, the internal regulations of the HZS CR, together with the laws and decrees of the Czech Republic, which deal with the chosen topic of the thesis. Results: The reset of this work is a description of individual disciplines of the admission procedure supplemented with examples of exercises suitable for the development of physical fitness, examples formitigation of psychic stress and description of the individual technical knowledge needed for service at the HZS CR. Intergenerational programs in seniors education

The work deals with the issue of intergenerational programmes, their position in the senior education and mapping their distribution in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is based on the latest findings in intergenerational projects and studies conducted mainly in the last decade which are listed in utilised sources. The framework focuses on the age specifics, their needs, trends of active aging, intergenerational solidarity and inter-generational education and learning in the context of lifelong and life-wide learning, especially in terms of grandparent and grandchildren generation relation. The work is supplemented by information from online surveys. It indicates that intergenerational programs in the Czech Republic meets the objectives of international and national strategies, increasing their offer is still inadequate

Determination of the effect of psychological skills to the pre anxiety in elite swimmers

The topic of this thesis becomes anxiety issues that negatively affects the enjoyment of sports performance and the performance of the individual itself. It assumes that the level of anxiety can consciously influence through the acquisition of specific mental skills. The theoretical part deals with the individual components that create or otherwise affect anxiety athletes. In the practical part we assume the application of research Sheldon Hanton and Graham Jones, who applied in the Czech environment for using standardized methods (questionnaire anxiety CSAI-2 (R), a guided interview). This is a qualitative research. At the end we evaluate and compare the results.

Raymond Radiguet's place in the French novel of the 1st half of 20th century

The aim of the bachelor thesis "Raymond Radiguet's place in the French novel of the 1st half of the 20th century" is to discuss the life and work of this writer. Despite the fact that Raymond Radiguet died very early in age of twenty, he managed during last four years of his life to create two collections of poetry, a drama and especially two novels. These novels became noticeable on the field of not only the French but also the worldwide psychological literature. Radiguet overtook many other writers by the maturity of his work and by his competence to analyze deeply the psychology of his novel's characters. This work is focused on the important moments of Radiguet's childhood and adolescence and also on the relationships with the artists of his era just as the way they influenced the young writer. Moreover, it looks into his journey from the very firsts texts to his two masterpieces The Devil on the Flesh (Le Diable au corps) and The Count's bal (Le bal du comte d'Orgel). These two novels will be analyzed according to the point of view of their theme and structure. We then mention also the question of autobiography in these novels. This part is well recognizable particularly in The Devil on the Flesh. The final consideration presents the confrontation with the close context of the contemporary...

Physical and psychological stress of perioperative nurses on the orthopedic operating theater

The topic of this bachelor thesis is "The physical and psychological burden of perioperative nurses in the orthopedic operating theatre". A perioperative nurse is currently characterized as a highly specialized expert who has to educate herself constantly and learn new operational procedures in her department. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to find possible levels of the burden put on perioperative nurses in the orthopedic theatre and to map the physical and psychological manifestations of the burden carried by the perioperative nurses in this theatre. The following research questions have been determined: What manifestations of physical and mental stress appear in perioperative nurses after the standard performance? What manifestations of physical and psychological stress appear in perioperative nurses after the revision performance? What techniques do perioperative nurses use to relieve stress? What stimuli before and during operations can increase burden manifestations. For the empirical part, a qualitative approach was chosen. Semi-structured interviewing, observation and selected methods were chosen for determining the physical and psychological burden. The conversations were subsequently overwritten by direct transcript. The research group consisted of perioperative nurses in the orthopedic surgery theatre. The research revealed an increased physical burden in all respondents and very interesting results from the subjective assessment of psychological stress. These results will serve not only the novice nurses to facilitate the work of the perioperative nurse, but also to prevent possible physical and psychological stress.

Domestic violence and its influence on psycosocial family climate

This thesis deals with domestic violence and is divided into two theoretical parts. The first of the two parts is focused on: the definition of the term family, the main purposes and all other factors that have any influence on family. The second part takes a detailed look at domestic violence itself. It offers an explanation of the features of domestic violence, discusses the forms and phases of its advancement and characterises the personality of a suspect and of a victim. The final part, named "Family climate", gives the conclusions which are drawn from the thesis.
